Where Is Hoole Lights Taking Place?

This year's celebrations will once again take place at Hoole Community Centre, with a wonderful mixture of indoor and outdoor activities for the whole family to enjoy.

Following the growing success of our traditional street celebrations, increasing crowds, safety requirements and event costs made it increasingly challenging for our volunteer-led group to continue hosting the event in its original format.

Last year, we approached Hoole Community Centre about supporting and hosting the celebrations, and their involvement has been invaluable. Without their support, putting on an event of this scale simply wouldn't be possible.

The move allows us to continue bringing the community together in a safe and welcoming setting, raising vital funds to maintain Hoole's Christmas lights and keep them shining throughout the festive season.

Thank you to Hoole Community Centre, our volunteers and everyone who continues to support this much-loved Hoole tradition!

Supporting Hoole's Christmas Lights

Hoole's Christmas lights are a much-loved part of our community, bringing a little extra magic to the neighbourhood every festive season.

The switch-on is made possible through the efforts of local volunteers, supporters, businesses and community organisations who give their time and resources to help make the celebrations happen.

We're grateful to everyone helping to bring Hoole Lights 2026 to life.

Keep Checking Back for Updates!

We're still putting the finishing touches on this year's programme, with more information to be announced over the coming weeks.

We'll be updating this page with further details about entertainment, activities, Santa's Grotto, the Christmas Jumper Parade and everything else you need to know before the big day.
