Where to Find Hoole Christmas Lights
The annual lights switch-on takes place at Hoole Community Centre. The Christmas lights display can then be enjoyed along the L-shaped route of Faulkner Street and Charles Street, in the heart of Hoole.

The Hoole Christmas Lights display runs along Faulkner Street and Charles Street, with local shops, cafés, bars and businesses forming part of the festive route.
Travel and Parking
Walking, Cycling and Public Transport
Where possible, please leave the car at home and travel on foot, by bicycle or by bus. Hoole is close to Chester city centre, with local bus services stopping nearby on Hoole Road.
Many of Hoole’s independent cafés, bars, restaurants and shops will be open on the day of the lights switch-on. Make a day of it: enjoy some food, drink or shopping locally before and after the celebrations.
Parking
There is a public car park behind Faulkner Street and Charles Street. Parking may be more limited than usual on the day of the event, so please plan ahead and allow extra time.
Please note that there will be no public parking available at Hoole Community Centre on the day of the lights switch-on, as the venue car park will be used to host and stage the event.
Please park considerately, respect local residents and do not block driveways or access routes.
